Rick Benzel pulled me back from the cliff. I was on the verge of going with either a traditional or boutique publishing firm and he (rightly) convinced me there was a better way. As a first time author, I was a “babe-in-the-woods” in all things related to getting out of the starting gate, across the publishing finish line, and everything in between. Rick took me under his wing and handled everything like the pro that he is: editing; copy edits; book cover and interior design; conversion to digital form, posting on Amazon and other platforms, entering of book contests, and even some marketing tips. I could not have been better taken care of and though I don’t know that I will write another book, I’ve found a friend for life. Five stars!

Rick’s editorial skills are phenomenal. He is excellent at knowing where and how to structure content and materials. Not only that, but his creative guidance was insightful, kind and reassuring…and with a great sense of humor as well! As a publisher, his knowledge of the book industry is extensive, so I always felt I was in professionally expert hands.

Thank you Rick, for helping me clarify, express and present the unique ideas that became the 10 BOLDskills for Accelerated Team Success. You kept me focused on my innovative team leadership ideas, and my book and message are immeasurably improved. Rick was very good at helping me find my voice and message. -

We could not ask for more in an editor than Rick Benzel has been -- keen analysis, creativity, judgment, sensitivity, tact, and directness when needed. Rick has guided us to many successful books.

Rick Benzel is an extremely talented writer and editor. Without his efforts, I would not be the author of two books.

Writing your first book is scary process. I combed the web for various editors and publishers and wasn't sold after searching and contacting dozens of them. Finally, I found Rick and decided to go with him because of his quick turn around. From the very get go, Rick was professional. I originally had him edit my manuscript and he gave me honest feedback and criticism which I received with open arms. He was also able to step back and allow me to make decisions. He is down to earth and laid back. I would recommend Rick to anyone who wants to publish their book. If you're nervous about the process, he will help calm your fears.
